Minuet Dinner Menu

One of our most popular menus, The Minuet menu is a more traditional three course seated meal. It showcases some of the best local produce from a selection of fantastic suppliers in Devon and the West Country, blending freshly prepared dishes with simplicity of service, as all guests have the same starter, main course, and dessert. (Options available for dietary needs). The Minuet menu is always well received, leaving a lasting impression on the wedding couple and guests alike.

Starters

Baked Quiches Cheddar and leek tart, toasted pumpkin seed and apple jelly (v)

Confit chicken thigh, toasted pine kernels, chorizo with a paprika emulsion

Roast squash, tenderstem and quinoa salad, mixed seeds, granola, honey and rapeseed oil dressing (vn)

Laverstoke mozzarella, cherry vine tomatoes, chilli jam and toasted pumpkin seeds (v)

Salmon and dill fish cake with a saffron aioli

Ham hock terrine with pickled vegetables, malthouse bread, rocket and pea shoot salad

Tempura cauliflower, sushi rice, crispy shallots and a wasabi emulsion (vn)

Balsamic roasted tomato and basil (v); Spiced butternut squash and parsnip (v); Country vegetable and pearl barley broth (v); Pea, mint and ham hock; Smoked haddock and white bean; Curried cauliflower with toasted pumpkin seeds (v)

Main Courses

Creedy Carver chicken supreme, fondant potato and confit leeks with a thyme cream

Braised lamb shoulder with buttered mash, broad bean and garden pea concasse, mint jus

Pan-fried salmon fillet with crushed new potatoes, samphire, asparagus and a chive velouté

Confit of barbary duck leg, Sarladaise potato cake, hazelnut jus and spring greens

Slow roasted, glazed, short rib of beef, Pomme Anna and pak choi with a red wine reduction

Roasted chicken on lemon tabbouleh, with pomegranate, vine tomatoes and tzatziki

Grilled fillet of sea trout, olive crushed new potatoes and a tomato and red onion salsa

Fillet of pork with air-dried ham crisp, confit potato, baked apple with a Dijon cream sauce
