Event Manager

Minimum 3 years Events and Hospitality Experience Required. 

As an Event Manager you will be responsible for the event planning and management of weddings and special occasions, successfully leading the front of house team during each event. The role requires a high level of personal organisation and attention to detail, and the ability to quickly gain the confidence and respect of both the client and the team. You will work well under pressure to ensure the smooth and efficient operational running of each event, whilst also ensuring that this is backed up by accurate planning and administration in all areas.

You must be able to build and maintain relationships with the team, and clients, always acting in a professional, friendly and welcoming manner.

Required Qualities.

Please note that we are looking for an exceptional candidate with excellent hospitality, events and customer services experience. Please only apply if you have three years of relevant experience, and the required qualities below:

- A minimum of three years’ experience in a professional, high quality hospitality environment (such as catering, venues, restaurants or hotels).

- Highly positive and professional in attitude and appearance

- Helpful, with the ability to motivate and inspire others

- Excellent work ethic


- High personal organisation, accuracy and attention to detail

- Ability to quickly gain the confidence and respect of both the client and team

- A successful track record

- Ability to inspire the client

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to train and mentor

- Commitment to our business

Salary £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.

Waiting Team Members

If you are smiley, bright, energetic and great with people we'd love to hear from you. Our waiting and bar team are paramount to ensuring that any visitor to Rockbeare Manor is well looked after.  The Rockbeare experience is all about going the extra mile and delivering the highest possible level of service - because we never forget, it's the little things that make a big difference.  

Part-time, flexible hours available. Regular evening and weekends.  Excellent rates of pay. Full training will be given.  


Housekeeping Team Members

First impressions, attention to detail and a warm welcome are of the highest importance to us at Rockbeare Manor.  We are looking for warm and friendly people to join our committed team of Housekeepers, who will work together to ensure that Rockbeare Manor is always looking it's best.  The role will involve general housekeeping in all front of house areas, as well as turning around our 12 luxury bedrooms following our guests stay.

Part-time, flexible hours available. Excellent rates of pay.
