Integrity is important to us, and as such, sustainability and inclusivity are two things that we feel passionate about. We endeavour to do all we can for the environment we live in and make sure that Rockbeare Manor is always a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Our team is compassionate, thoughtful, and willing to offer a service that is both personal and respectful. Whether it’s making sure that dietary requirements are catered for, providing accessible facilities, or adjusting our approach to meet a guest’s specific needs, we treat everyone with attention and care.

Sustainability
With climate change and sustainability being ever-present, at Rockbeare Manor we are conscious of our impact within the local area, meaning that we are striving to create a better environment both for our visitors and region.
Visitor experience is key within the events industry - creating positive word of mouth amongst the local community. This has meant that that we have adapted the ‘triple bottom line’ idea. This focuses on our impact on the planet as well as the people (visitors).
Throughout recent years, we have been focusing on reducing our impact on the environment and aiming towards achieving Net Zero, analysing areas such as fuel consumption, and we would always encourage our couples to make good choices with regards to one-off, disposable purchases for their weddings.
From the offset, it has always been in our ethos to source ingredients and materials from local suppliers to help stimulate the local economy as well as support the smaller businesses around Rockbeare Manor throughout the year. As a venue, we have always been true advocates for recycling, and have been splitting up waste for some time now. We have also recently introduced food waste bins within all kitchen areas to further split up the waste produced from the venue, reducing the reliance on landfill.
As well as this, we have a garden team which keep the grounds in top condition throughout the year. This has meant that we have a range of plants and flowers throughout the grounds which attracts a wide variety of biodiversity to the venue – this also increases the visitors experience with seeing a range of different wildlife when visiting Rockbeare Manor.
