EVENING MENUS

All evening menus are available post reception. They are accompanied by breads and grissini, roasted cashews, toasted hazelnuts and vegetable crisps.

 

Regional Cheese Platter £8.95 per person

Bath soft, Somerset Brie, Ash Pyramid, Exmoor blue, Sharpham Rustic, Quickes Vintage Cheddar, with a selection of breads and biscuits, celery, grapes, apples, cherry tomatoes, figs, onions and chutneys.

(Sage, mustard and cider salami, fennel salami, lonza, Somerset beef bresaola, smoked chicken, basil pesto bocconcini, asparagus, marinated artichoke hearts, Nocellara olives) 

 

Pasties £8.95 per person

A choice of our homemade pasties with chutneys, sauces and pickled onions 

served to your guests in our usher trays as they continue to party.

Traditional Pasty: Chunky steak with potato, swede and onion

Veggie Pasty: Butternut squash, spinach, ricotta and toasted pecan

 

Tartine £9.95 per person

A selection of breads brushed with oils and herbs, then toasted in our ovens. 

Please choose four of the following:

Sirloin of beef with salsa verde

Pancetta, pea, ricotta with asparagus

Curried chicken on spinach, with a tomato and chilli jam

Dijon mustard, streaky bacon, sausage and crispy onion

Prawn, poached salmon with roasted vine tomatoes

Grilled avocado caprese (vn)

Camembert, walnut and figs (v)

Smoked salmon and lemon crème fraîche

Red onion marmalade, goats’ cheese and poached pear

Portobello mushroom with spinach and roasted garlic (vn)

Salt beef, Cheddar shavings and wholegrain mustard pizza

Mediterranean pizza - olives, rocket pesto and peppers (v)

 

Mac and Cheese £9.95 per person

Served from our usher trays with accompaniments of air-dried ham crisps, cauliflower, bacon, mushrooms, crispy shallots, crispy kale, pickled cucumber and gherkins.

Macaroni and Quickes Vintage Cheddar baked with rosemary crumb or Tenderstem brocolli, romanesco, roasted squash, lemon, onion and tomato quinoa salad (vn) 

 

Gourmet Burgers £10.50 per person 

Our burgers are served in brioche buns and accompanied by skinny fries, picked cucumbers, sweet chilli jam, crispy onions, tomato sauce and jalapeños.

Please select either the house burger OR the chicken burger, plus the vegetarian alternative. 

House Burger: Ground beef patty, Cheddar cheese, streaky bacon, watercress and radicchio salad, beef tomato, Dijon mayonnaise 

Chicken Burger:  Buttermilk chicken, Cheddar cheese, watercress and radicchio salad, beef tomato, chilli bacon jam 

Veggie Burger (to order): Chickpea and vegetable pakora with grilled peppers, watercress and radicchio salad, tomato mango and ginger salsa

 

 

Roasted £11.95 per person

Roasted in our ovens and carved to order on wooden platters served with herb leaf salad, caramelised onions, coleslaw, 

pickles, mustards, sauces and breads.

Honey, mustard and demerara roasted gammon

Devonshire beef topside with fresh horseradish sauce

Roasted chicken stuffed with lemon tabbouleh

Shoulder of pork with crackling

Roasted shoulder of lamb with a mint sauce

Spicy pulled beef with a hoisin sauce

Chickpea and vegetable pakora with a squash, mango and ginger salsa (vn)

Falafel with lemon mint yoghurt, beetroot slaw (v)

 

Hog Boards £11.95 per person (Minimum 80 guests)

A whole Devon hog prepared by the Chefs – served as pulled pork shoulder, roasted loin and rib, pan-fried belly, sausages, stuffing and crackling.

 Sweet potato and white bean burger (vn)

Served with homemade apple sauce, coleslaw, breads and English herb leaf salad.

 

Barbecue £15.95 per person

Cooked outside on a charcoal barbeque.  Served with fennel slaw, English herb leaf salad, potato salad  and bread. All of the following are included.

Cumin and lime chicken skewers, marinated rump steak, Bartlett’s Farm sausages, marinated halloumi and pepper kebabs.

Ice Cream Tricycle £340 

A great addition to a canapé reception or as dessert for your evening menu. Price based on up to 100 guests. Additional guests charged at £2.95 per person

Served from our vintage Pashley Tricycle. A choice of four luxury ice creams from Salcombe Dairy served in sugar cones with chocolate flakes and praline.
